A long period of STRESS @ school..including 23 recitals or concerts that I, regrettably, did not have the time to update here. (hillarious) Also, the Mingus Ensemble led by James Newton played my arrangement of Fables of Faubus, complete with oboe, flute, and a string section!

Duke Ellington's 110th Birthday Anniversary Festival of Music. Feat: Jens Lindemann, trumpeter and director of a new student brass ensemble, playing Ellington compositions.

April 4th

Duke Ellington's 110th Birthday Anniversary Festival of Music. I'll conduct a performance of Duke Ellington's "Queenie Pie" (Non-Staged Concert Version) @ UCLA's Schoenberg Hall.

March 6th

Recording @ Capital records on an album Featuring Jens Lindemann on trumpet. Jens is bringing in Jay Chattaway (arr.) and Wycliffe Gordon, Alex Isles, Steve Holtman, Gary Foster and mess of other great players.
