Jazz Education Today: A National Snapshot
A national research survey about what jazz education in the United States is teaching well, what may be missing, and how musicians and educators understand the relationship among curriculum, sound, history, community, professional practice, and inclusion.
Would you be interested in a brief Zoom interview?
After submitting the survey, you may separately volunteer for a brief Zoom conversation about your opinions and experiences. This contact form is submitted separately from the survey response. Providing interview contact information does not change the privacy choice you made for your survey response.
Interview recordings, transcripts, notes, and quotations will be anonymized in analysis, presentations, and publications in accordance with the approved research protocol.
Thank you for contributing to Jazz Education Today.
Help us reach more voices in jazz education. If you know musicians, educators, students, administrators, or others whose experiences should be represented, please pass the survey along.
Please feel free to forward the approved link to other adults in the United States with experience in jazz or jazz education. Forwarding the invitation does not obligate anyone to participate.
